Terrorisme au Mali : Quelle perception des familles des militaires déployés au front via les réseaux-sociaux ?
Cet article est le fruit d’une constatation qui nous a poussé à la recherche des perceptions sur le terrorisme des familles de militaires déployés au front au Mali via les réseaux sociaux. Avec la mutation des moyens de communication, les réseaux sociaux ont apporté un changement notoire dans la transmission d’information. Ce changement qui n’est pas sans répercussion peut constituer un problème en situation de conflit. A partir d’une analyse qualitative basée sur l’interview des parents des militaires déployés au front, il ressort que les perceptions diffèrent d’un individu à un autre et cela résulte des informations relayées via les réseaux sociaux sur la guerre de lutte contre le terrorisme. Moyen de communication incontournable en ce XXIe siècle, les contenus traités via les réseaux sociaux peuvent être source d’atténuation, d’amplification ou de dénonciation du phénomène terroriste. Ils sont à la base de la mauvaise perception qu’ont les parents sur le terrorisme, ce qui conduit à la création de psychose engendra la peur chez certains. A cet égard, son utilisation dans la transmission d’information dans un contexte de guerre est décriée par bon nombre de nos interlocuteurs qui les jugent inappropriés compte tenu d’absence réglementaire dans le partage des images et vidéos choquantes.

This article is the result of an observation that led us to research the perceptions of terrorism of the families of soldiers deployed to the front in Mali via social networks. With the change in the means of communication, social networks have brought a notorious change in the transmission of information. This change, which is not without repercussions, can be a problem in a conflict situation. From a qualitative analysis based on the interview of the parents of soldiers deployed at the front, it appears that perceptions differ from one individual to another and this results from the information relayed via social networks on the war against the terrorism. An essential means of communication in the 21st century, the content processed via social networks can be a source of attenuation, amplification or denunciation of the terrorist phenomenon. They are the basis of the bad perception that parents have on terrorism, which leads to the creation of psychosis engendered fear in some. In this respect, its use in the transmission of information in a context of war is criticized by many of our interlocutors who consider them inappropriate given the lack of regulations in the sharing of shocking images and videos.
