Les artisans de l’avènement d’Ibn Yasin au Sahara occidental
La période d’avant 1035 est caractérisée par une ère d’anarchie politique et de libertinage religieux démesuré des Berbères Sanhadja du Sahara occidental. À cette date, Yahya ben Ibrahim, le chef d’une de leurs tribus, alla faire le pèlerinage de la Mecque. Sur le chemin du retour, il fait la connaissance successive de deux oulémas du Maghreb dont Abou Amran et Waggag. Avec le concours de ceux-ci, Yahya obtint l’assentiment d’un docteur de rite malékite pour l’accompagner dans son pays afin d’instruire ses contribules des vraies valeurs de l’islam. De ce fait, ces trois personnages, de par leurs efforts conjugués, sont à l’origine de l’avènement d’Ibn Yasin au Sahara occidental. Ils sont ainsi, les artisans de son arrivée et se montrent, d’ailleurs très utiles au succès de sa mission.

The period before 1035 is characterized by an era of political anarchy and excessive religious libertinism of the Berber sanhadja of Western Sahara. On this date, Yahya ben Ibrahim, the chief of one of their tribes, went on pilgrimage to Mecca. On the way back, he made the successive acquaintance of two Maghreb ulemas, including Abou Amran and Waggag. With the help of these, Yahya obtained the consent of a doctor of the Maliki rite to accompany him to his country in order to instruct his contributes in the true values of Islam. As a result, these three characters, through their combined efforts, are at the origin of the advent of Ibn Yasin in Western Sahara. They are thus the architects of his arrival and are, moreover, very useful to the success of his mission.
